I tested the Invisible Stranding method invented by Susan Rainey on this ball and I’m super happy with it. With Invisible Stranding there are basically no
limitations to float length. The longest float on this ball was 60 (!) stitches.
Sounds interesting? Susan has an awesome hat pattern (It’s not About the Hat) that describes the technique and is like a tutorial (youtube videos included). In
addition I learned a clever new method of cuff design that I’m going to use on future projects.
Ball 24: Globe. Pattern found here. I tested Techknitter’s Stuart-Method for dealing with long floats and I like it even more than
the Invisible Stranding I used while knitting Ball 23
