The pattern on the cuff is inspired by the Selbu Modern hat. These gloves are buddys for my doubleknit SelbuSelbu hat.

Gauge: 28 sts/10 cm/ 4 in

 

Pattern:

CO 48 sts (incr to 52 over the next 15 rows)

knit 5 rows

 

Thumb gusset:
incr every 3rd row until 9 sts between marker
incr every 4th row until 19 sts between marker

knit 4 rows

 

Thumb:
set 19 sts aside
incr 5 sts (backw loop) over thumb (56 sts)
knit approx 8 rows

 

Pinky:
14 + 4 sts; 26 rows; BO

 

Thumb:
19 + 5 + 2 sts
row 5: centered double decrease (24 sts)
